Blackbrook House wedding inspiration shoot

It was a freezing, foggy morning in Derbyshire when I set off to meet up with wedding planner Leah Lyons, from Your Wedding Angel, at Blackbrook House.
Leah had arranged a team of fab people for a wedding inspiration shoot and they were all gathered at the venue putting the finishing touches to hair and make-up.
It was a great day and I really enjoyed it - time flew by, but we seemed to get loads done. The models were brilliant and didn't once complain about being cold! For more info about our wedding photography, visit our website or give us a call on 01332 523523.

George growing up!

When we first opened The Studio towards the end of 2009, some of the first people through the door were little George and his family.
They booked in for a family photoshoot when George was just a few weeks old and so tiny that he fitted in the palm of his daddy's hand.

Fast forward two years and George has grown into a gorgeous toddler with beautiful curly hair and a mischievous twinkle in his eyes.
It was lovely to see how he has grown and changed in such a short time.
If you would like more information about a newborn photoshoot or family portrait photography, get in touch - before they're ready to leave home!!

Autumn garden photoshoot

I love meeting and photographing nice people and this family was one of the loveliest ever.
We first met them when we photographed Daniel and Daisy's wedding at the end of 2010 and Daniel's sister, Louise, decided to treat her mum, Judy, to a photoshoot with her grandson in her beautiful garden to celebrate her birthday last November.
Judy is a keen photographer herself, so I was anxious to get some pictures she would really love! We had absolutely gorgeous autumn sunshine on the day itself and the family were so relaxed and welcoming.
I was really pleased with the pictures and, after lengthy discussion (!), Judy picked her favourite shots to be printed.
It was a pleasure to photograph this lovely family and they were over the moon with the mounted prints they ordered - so much so that I even got a hug and kiss from Judy when she collected them!
