We've been asked a lot about special birthday treat photoshoots lately, so I though I'd share some pictures from our most recent one.
A make-up artist from Foxy Lady Beauty Salon in Mickleover, which is just across the street from The Studio, came in to make birthday girl Louise look fabulous.
The photoshoot had been arranged by her nan as part of her birthday celebrations.
Louise was a real natural and had heaps of gorgeous shots to choose from when she and her nan came in for the viewing. Luckily, they managed to agree on their favourites!
Alison and Matt's gorgeous wedding seems like ages ago now, but I'm finally managing to catch up a bit on blog entries!
The venue was Shottle Hall, a beautiful country house hotel in the heart of the Derbyshire countryside. It's the perfect place for a gorgeous, intimate wedding.
The couple were brilliant to work with and said they were really pleased with Steve's pictures.

Sarah and Paul first met us at the fabulousplaces.co.uk Christmas Market at the Roundhouse, Derby, late last November when they were expecting their first baby at any moment.
Little did they know it, but their little boy was to be born the following Wednesday - the perfect early Christmas present!
They knew they wanted to get some pictures of little Farley while he was still tiny, so they got in touch in the new year to arrange a sitting at the studio.
At seven weeks old, he behaved himself brilliantly at the shoot - although he did wait until his nappy was off before weeing all over his daddy!!
We got some lovely shots when he was wide awake and then, with a little milky drink and a pit of patting and shushing, he zonked out for some fast-asleep pictures.
Sarah has just been in to collect their mounted prints and the little lad is growing fast!
